Els quatre fulls del manuscrit fragmentari M^h (Madrid, Real Academia de la Historia, 9-24-6 / 4579, n. 3) constitueixen un dels pocs testimonis lírics conservats de mà catalana anteriors a la segona meitat del segle XV. Se’n van ocupar Pellegrini i Zufferey, sobretot pel que fa a la identificació de les sis peces trobadoresques copiades i a la descripció lingüística. Afegint-hi una anàlisi exhaustiva, interna i externa, Cabré i Boadas caracteritzen M^h com el fragment d’un còdex compilat per una mà propera a la cancelleria reial, com confirmen la lletra i la impaginació, el darrer quart del segle XIII (no més enllà de 1328). Les autores destaquen la proximitat ecdòtica als cançoners occitans CE i sobretot R, amb l’excepció d’una peça que convida a aprofundir l’estudi de la transmissió de les cobles esparses. Finalment, formulen una hipòtesi sobre la situació d’aquest fragment, sobretot pel que fa al seu format cursiu però acurat, en l’evolució de la còpia de la literatura d’arrel trobadoresca a Catalunya.

The four remaining leaves of ms M^h (Madrid, Real Academia de la Historia, 9-24-6 / 4579, n. 3) represent one of the few extant Catalan witnesses of a lyric written transmission before the second half of the 15^th century. Pellegrini and Zufferey had identified the six troubadour poems copied in M^h, and described their linguistic traits. By means of an exhaustive analysis, regarding both internal and external elements, Cabré and Boadas achieve a characterization of the fragment as part of a codex copied by a hand trained at the royal chancery in the last decades of the 13^th century (no later than 1328). They highlight its textual proximity to the troubadour chansonniers C, E, and particularly R, with the exception of a composition that invites further research on the transmission of coblas esparsas. Finally, the authors formulate a hypothesis about the role of M^h in the evolution of the written transmission of literature rooted in troubadour culture within the Crown of Aragon, especially regarding its cursive yet accurate format.
