He tratado dilucidar la presencia de la oppositio alma/cuerpo, como eslabón importante entre los lugares comunes que colorean los Vers, y que, formando parte del grupo de subtemas literarios que incluye la obra, ofrecen, en cierto modo, los puntos clave de la cosmovisión medieval sobre la Muerte. Esta confrontación que trasluce todo un bagaje teológico y predicativo difuso, pero efectivo, se inserta en el texto construyendo propia historia, sus múltiples estructuras, que llegan incluso a esbozar una forma de debate o diálogo. Estructura incipiente importante de subrayar, así como su asimilación a la finalidad edificante de una sociedad urbana apartada de la integridad moral exigida, que se perfila en los Vers.
I have tried to explain the presence of the oppositio soul/body as an important link between the common places that color the Vers, and that, forming a part of the group of literary sub-subjects that the work includes, offer, in a certain way, the key points of the medieval worldview of Death. This confrontation – that reveals a whole theological and predicative diffuse, but effective, baggage – is inserted in the text constructing own history, his multiple structures, which even manage to outline a form of discussion or dialog. Incipient structure important of underlining, as well as his assimilation to the edifying purpose of an urban society isolated from the moral demanded integrity, which is outlined in the Vers.
