Ho cercato di togliere dall’ombra in cui per troppo tempo sono rimasti tre trovatori ‘minori’ della zona di Béziers e di situarli in un appropriato sfondo cronotopico e sociale. Berengier de Puysserguier, autore di una cobbola di stampo giocoso, è stato identificato con l’omonimo signore dall’arco esistenziale compreso tra il 1160 e il 1240, in rapporti coi maggiorenti politici del suo tempo e schieratosi dalla parte dei conti di Tolosa durante la crociata antialbigese, tanto da essere scomunicato e privato dei suoi beni. Ademar de Rocaficha, del quale ci sono giunte tre liriche amorose sprovviste di riferimenti sfruttabili a fini di ancoraggio, è stato ravvisato nel componente di una famiglia equestre con dimora principale a Agde ed entrature negli ambienti ecclesiastici e aristocratici bassolinguadociani a cavallo del 1200. Peire de Pomairols, interlocutore di Guionet nel partimen segnato nella BdT col numero 238.3, è stato omologato al dominus dallo stesso nome di cui si sono rinvenute tracce documentarie che lo dimostrano attivo nei primi decenni del XIII secolo e in contatto con gli esponenti della classe feudocavalleresca meridionale vessati e perseguitati da avidi e inesorabili defensores fidei.
In this paper I have attempted to bring three ‘minor’ troubadours from the Béziers region out of the shadows in which they have remained for too long, and to place them in an appropriate chronotopical and social context. These are Berengier de Puysserguier, author of a humorous cobla, who has been identified with the homonymous lord who lived about 1160-1240 and was connected to important political figures of the time; having sided with the Counts of Toulouse during the Albigensian Crusade, he was excommunicated and lost his possessions. Ademar de Rocaficha, author of three love songs with no internal references that may be used to contextualize them, who has been recognized as belonging to a family of knights residing principally at Agde and linked to the ecclesiastic and aristocratic milieux of southern Languedoc around 1200. Peire de Pomairols, involved in a partimen with Guionet (BdT 238.3), who has been identified with the dominus of the same name, whose activity has been traced to the early decades of the thirteenth century and who was in contact with members of the southern feudal and chivalric classes harassed and persecuted by greedy and relentless defensores fidei.
